Lone Pine Coffee Roasters

If you are looking for a great cup of coffee with friendly service, make sure to stop by Lone Pine Coffee Roasters. Lone Pine has been roasting some of Bend’s finest coffee since 2009 and the coffee shop really prides itself on their passion towards the community. Lone Pine is known among locals as a hub where people meet to catch up and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. The coffee shop also has some of the best service in Bend.

All About Lone Pine

The coffee shop is located in a relaxed industrial space with exposed brick on Tin Pan Alley in the heart of downtown Bend. The roaster is inside the coffee shop and you can watch freshly roasted beans churn out while you sip on your cup of coffee. There isn’t a lot of seating or space in the coffee shop, but they also offer outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

Lone Pine Coffee Roasters serves their beans in espresso drinks, drip coffee, and pour overs. They also serve pastries, waffles, and sandwiches and their almond milk and cashew milk are made in-house. The walls of the coffee shop are decorated with art from local artists and the gallery changes a few times a year. If you order a drip coffee to drink at the shop, you get a free refill.

Lone Pine Coffee Roasters make seven different roasts for you to try. They sell each of these roasts in their shop and online.

Heartwood Espresso Blend is a fresh roasted whole bean coffee with notes of blackberry and chocolate. The Tin Pan Alley Blend (named after their location) is a dark roast with hints of Rainier cherries and cocoa.

Their Ethiopia Worka roast gets its beans from a group of farmers in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. The best way to enjoy this blend is using the pour over method so you can really taste its notes of orange blossom and lime leaf.

If you want a cup of coffee without the caffeine, try their decaf Burundi Kivubo roast. This decaf has flavors of dark chocolate and toffee with hints of lemon and cinnamon. They also have a Guatemala La Folie Antigua, a Kenya Gathaithi AA, and a Mexico Oaxaca Yosotatu Libre.
