Golf in Sunriver, Oregon

Although you may not think of a mountain village as the perfect golf location, avid golfers know a little secret: Central Oregon offers some of the finest courses around! Home to two championship public courses, the Meadows and Woodlands, there are also two private golf courses near Sunriver, Oregon that Sunriver Pines guests have access to, Crosswater and Caldera Springs Links, so the golfers in your family should have plenty to do to keep them occupied during your Sunriver vacation!

Meadows

18 challenging holes surrounded by stunning Oregon scenery, this John Fought designed Sunriver golf course offers a glimpse back into the glory days of golf during the 20s and 30s. No, the course isn’t that old. This is actually the newest John Fought design; it’s just meant to mimic the grace and style of courses from that era. (There is also a 9-hole putt and chip course to let you get a little practice in between rounds.)

Woodlands

This beautiful 18-hole Sunriver golf course was voted in the top 10 for family golf destinations, an honor we were not surprised to hear about—Woodlands is that wonderful! Designed by famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, the course is a fast and challenging one set on some of Central Oregon’s most scenic patches of green.

Crosswater

Immaculately maintained and lushly landscaped, Crosswater has been chosen to host the 2017 PGA professional championship, a prestigious honor that makes us proud. This breathtaking course has consistently been the recipient of many awards over the years, including placement on Golf Digest’s “America’s top 100 courses,” and is probably one of our favorite courses to play. Designed by Robert E. Cupp, your Sunriver vacation will not be complete without playing a round here!

Caldera Springs Links

This beautiful 9-hole course is not just family-friendly, it’s a wonderful course for introducing your children to the joys of golf in Sunriver, Oregon. Immaculately landscaped and just challenging enough to be interesting to experienced players, but not too challenging so as to scare off novices, your entire family will have a fun time knocking that dimpled white ball around this course. Designed by the same architect who created Crosswater, the panoramic views that surround you may be just a little distracting!
