Sunriver is a breathtaking sight in the fall, so there’s no better time to come and pay us a visit than the 2019 Halloween season. October is a time of parties, family fun, and community events to get you laughing and smiling and ready for one of the best holidays of the year! Here are some of the events we’re looking forward to this Halloween in Sunriver:

Halloween in Sunriver – Explore a Spooky Lava Cave

Do you want to take your family somewhere that’s sure to get their skin crawling in the days leading up to Halloween? Take them on a self-guided flashlight tour of the ancient lava tubes beneath the mountain. The dripping sounds, flickering flashlights, and dark corners are sure to get everyone in the Halloween mood. Admission is only $5 per car, and you’ll have to sit through a 10-minute cave safety orientation.

When: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Family Halloween Party at Old Mill District

If you want to see a big Halloween in Sunriver party, head into the big city on the day of Halloween with the kids to enjoy a family-friendly event and see the best of Bend at the same time. Check out all the shops, stop in to dine at one of the many to-die-for restaurants, and pick up a souvenir along the way. The shops even pass out candy for kids in the evening, so it’s a great way to make sure the kids still get to enjoy trick-or-treating even though you’re out of town on vacation.

When: Thu, October 31 @ 9:00am – 12:00pm

Where: Old Mill District, 450 SW Powerhouse Dr
